Good to Know: Rachelle Thomas, Lenoir City Branch Supervisor

Creating an outstanding banking experience begins with a strong team, and we at SouthEast Bank pride ourselves on making every experience with us a personal one. That’s why we care about introducing you to special team members like Rachelle Thomas, leader of SouthEast Bank’s Lenoir City branch, where “you’re treated more like family than a customer.”

As a born-and-bred member of the community, Rachelle holds Lenoir City dear to her heart. “I love living here,” she says. “When you grow up in a small town, everybody knows your name. And in times of need, everyone is eager to pull together and help each other out. It’s like one big family.”

Her work ethic and encouraging leadership started in high school, when she became captain of her cheerleading team. Now, as branch supervisor, she endeavors to slow down and be present with everyone who walks through the door. Remembering one of her favorite memories in the Lenoir City branch, Rachelle recalls working with an elderly customer who wanted to learn how to manage her account from home. “I went to her house, set her computer up, and showed her how to access her SouthEast Bank account using our online banking. The customer was beyond thankful and even cried happy tears.” What a testament to Rachelle’s customer service!

Rachelle loves spending time with her family and friends and is a regular patron of local small businesses, whether for a regular dose of caffeine (“Ugly Mug is by far my favorite coffee shop,” says Rachelle) or for easy takeout (On her night to make dinner, “I prefer to order in!”). In her down time, she might just be watching The First 48 Hours. “I love crime shows,” says Rachelle.

Reflecting on her achievements, she says, “Raising two fine adult children makes me the proudest. I aim to be the best mother and friend I can be.”

We’re proud to include Rachelle in the SouthEast Bank family. When you next visit SouthEast Bank in Lenoir City, be sure to say hello to Rachelle and see her dedication for yourself!
