That’s why we care about introducing you to the special team members who you’ll see in our branches every day. Like Donna Robinson, who began her banking career with us 18 years ago. She continues to be an integral part of our branch team as Assistant Vice President, currently leading the Cookeville branch on East 10th Street where, in Donna’s words, “everyone is treated like family.”
Donna was born and raised in the Upper Cumberland area as the youngest of six, and she continues to enjoy being a part of the community with her husband of 35 years, Steve Robinson, and their two children, Lauren and Justin. In between raising her family, Donna has been working diligently towards her Business Management degree. “Funny enough,” Donna says, “at one time, I was in college at the same time as both of my children!”
She and her family love to support local SouthEast Bank business customers, especially when it comes to delicious food. “Sunday’s at Crawdaddy’s on the patio, Stroud’s BBQ for family cook outs, and El Tap for Mexican!”
She enjoys time spent outdoors, playing golf, motorcycle riding, and collecting acorns and pinecones on her walks. She’s proud to have collected two 18-inch pinecones from the Sequoia National Park. She also enjoys watching the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers, along with crime shows and “anything about US history.”
One of her proudest professional moments was in 2022, when she was recognized with SouthEast’s Branch Supervisor Award. She continues to work toward providing the best branch experience possible by talking with every customer who walks through the door. When it comes to choosing a favorite moment of her time spent at SouthEast Bank, Donna says, “There are too many to pick from. I love working with my wonderful family at SouthEast Bank.”
